Eve returns to interview Wicklow. Some while earlier he had been found in an adjoining cell standing over the body of a man who had been imprisoned for sexually abusing his children. All that Wicklow would say was that he was looking for his pencil, which the dead man borrowed and was actually found impaled up his nose. Wicklow had also attacked the dead man's cell-mate Colin Feather, who has now been released on parole and the governor doubts if Colin would have been the culprit for fear of jeopardizing his release plan. Colin takes Wicklow's sister Barbara prisoner, first terrorizing her and then reading her a calming story. Eve must decide who the real killer is. Written by don @ minifie-1

Excellent episode, best of the lot.

Of all the episodes of Cold Blood, this is the standout offering. After this it felt a little padded, with Brian's involvement sometimes feeling a little contrived. This one though is excellent, it's well written, gritty, very visual, and intriguing.

Matthew Kelly once again shines, and to my mind has more presence then the far more experienced pairing of Jemma Redgrave and John Hannah, who are excellent I must add.

Very gripping, this is a great watch. 9/10
