- The Rangers prevent Fat Cat from stealing the world's largest pearl.
- A new restaurant near the city's harbor has on display the world's largest pearl, and Fat Cat and his goons intend to make it their own. However, the Rangers manage to thwart his attempts, and the owner of the restaurant then implements a new security measure: a menacing shark that swims around the tank, protecting the pearl.
Meanwhile, Chip and the others have grown exasperated at Dale's attempts to one-up Chip in regards to gags. Chip, Gadget, Monterey Jack, and Zipper then create a radio transmitter that makes Dale think that a mystical spirit named Rama-Lala-Ding-Dong is talking to him. Chip then tricks Dale into thinking that the voice is willing to help him get back at Chip.
Chip tricks Dale into going to the park, where he is unfortunately captured by Fat Cat's goons. Dale is then taken to Fat Cat's hideout, where Fat Cat plans to use Dale as bait to distract the restaurant's guard-shark, and get the pearl back.
The Rangers manage to track down Dale to the restaurant, where Chip uses the transmitter to admit to Dale that Rama-Lama was a trick, but intends to have Dale convince Fat Cat that he has psychic powers. The ruse almost works until Dale's transmitter is dislodged. Angered at being tricked, Fat Cat simply throws Dale to the guard-shark, as the Rangers work to take care of Fat Cat and his gang, eventually breaking the aquarium where the pearl is held, washing Fat Cat, his goons, and the guard-shark out of the tank and into the nearby harbor.
