- A trip to the UK finds the Roy kids negotiating with their mother; Logan turns to Rhea for advice.
- The episode opens with Kendall (Jeremy Strong) talking to Naomi Pierce (Annabelle Dexter-Jones) on his iPhone in the bathroom. She wants a picture of his private parts, but he is reluctant to provide something so personal. He finally snaps a picture and sends it to her. Shiv (Sarah Snook) and her husband, Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) ride up the elevator to Logan's apartment. They discuss Shiv's plan for the company future. Ken walks out of the bathroom and greets his sister a little too nicely. Tom is suspicious and observes, "Mega dump and a line?" A party is under way and Shiv sets out to find her father and confirm she is still heir to the company reins and get his feedback on her memo. Gerri Kellman (J. Smith-Cameron) and Roman Roy (Kieran Culkin) discuss their bargain on company succession. Gerri breaks away to inform Tom that Blanch & Partners will be doing the internal investigation of Tom's involvement in the Cruise Division cover ups. Tom is happy, as he believes Blanch will go easy on him. Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his current wife Marcia (Hiam Abbass) descend the staircase. Logan observes that the cruise story was a non-starter. Gerri pulls Logan back up the stairs, leaving Shiv to chat with her stepmother, instead of Logan. She really wants to talk to her dad, and try to smooth things over after the Argestes fiasco-Dinosaurgate. Upstairs, Gerri, Logan, Kendall, Frank Vernon (Peter Friedman) and Logan's scheduling secretary, Kerry (Zoe Winters) review a video appeal being sent to all wavering Waystar-Royco stockholders regarding the upcoming shareholder meeting. It urges the removal of Logan and his current board of directors in favor of a new board and chairman. Frank tells the group, "So Sandy and Stewy have sent out thousands of them. All major shareholders." Frank and Gerri agree that Logan is in trouble and could lose control of his own company. Some investors are wavering on their previously solid support of Logan-including his ex-wife, Caroline (and mother of his three youngest children). Frank suggests that the Roy children go to the UK and talk to their mother and Logan talk to his old friend and a major stockholder, Jack the Ulsterman. Logan specifically excludes Shiv from this task. The meeting breaks up and Roman goes downstairs to chide his sister about her status with Dad.

Kenneth Chan (Christopher Chan) from Blanch & Partners finds Tom Wamsgans in the Executive Suite and brings him back to a conference room. Tom is introduced to Stefan Strauss (Christopher Kelly), another Blanch investigator. Tom explains that he is new to the job and isn't familiar with the history at Brightstar Cruises. As the questioning gets uncomfortable, Tom begs off the meeting to talk to Shiv. Logan and Roman share a limo ride to the airfield. Things are uncomfortably quiet with the normally talkative Roman. They both are reticent to discuss the incident at Argestes. Kendall is already on the airplane. Rhea Jarrell (Holly Hunter) is present and asks, "He didn't tell you I was coming?" Ken replies, "No. No, he did not. For a media guy he's not the greatest communicator." They chat as Logan and Roman arrive. Roman was also unaware of Rhea's attendance on the trip. Back at headquarters, Shiv is berating Kerry. Shiv just learned her dad left the country before meeting with her. Kerry is totally calm and tells Shiv, "Plans change, so he wanted to apologize." Tom asks Shiv about the investigation as he thinks he will end up as a scapegoat. Shiv decides to join her siblings in the UK. On the flight Logan seeks Rhea's advice on his children as possible successors. She is very forthcoming in her assessment. Logan and Rhea appear to be a bit too chummy. For Roman and Kendall, who are banished to the back of the airplane, they see parallels to past flings their father has had. Logan calls the boys up front. Logan discusses Shiv's memo. They all trash the format and contents, an exercise that delights Roman.
Tom goes to visit "Cousin Greg" Hirsch (Nicholas Braun) at Greg's apartment. Tom wants the cruise documents back. [Greg was assigned to gather and destroy the documents in the previous season. He kept some of them.] Greg has been using them for not so subtle blackmail and Tom has had enough. He also wanted to know how Greg's interview with Blanch & Partners went. Greg admits he keeps the incriminating documents at the office. Tom explains that the pair of them will retrieve and destroy them the next day. Logan Roy has an apartment in London. He is entertaining Rhea in the Living Room. He explains that Shiv will be coming the next day and he really doesn't want the expected confrontation. Logan expresses to Rhea that he is having second thoughts on his succession deal with Shiv. Rhea spots an opportunity and pounces, "You know, if you wanted me to, I think I might be able to help you make this go away. Would you like me to try? Let me see what I can do." Much to Rhea's surprise Logan asks, "You wanna stay over, or what?"
Gerri calls Roman in London. He is having breakfast and Gerri wants to confirm some unsavory things from Roman's past. Kendall interrupts to show Roman an article from a competitor's tabloid about their father. It reads, "Bullied to Death," and involves the young man Kendall was with when the car they were in crashed into a river. The driver/drug dealer died as a result. Logan and his team erased any evidence that Kendall was involved. The boys agree Logan should be awakened and told. Hugo Baker (Fisher Stevens), Karolina (Dagmara Dominczyk) and Gerri are on a conference call with Logan. They advise him to meet with the family. Logan reluctantly agrees to the mission. Naomi Pierce walks into the room. She spent the night as Kendall's "guest". Logan is not happy to see any member of the Pierce family. He dismisses her to parlay with Roman and Kendall on a strategy to get his ex-wife's proxy support. Roman is given negotiating details and money limits. Kendall suggests he re-open the divorce settlement, so it does not appear to be a straight-up bribe. Logan suggests a $10 million opening, with a maximum of $50 million. Roman departs. Logan asks Kendall to accompany him to visit the dead boy's parents. This dredges up uncomfortable feelings of guilt in Kendall. Shiv arrives at the apartment, and Roman informs his sister that Dad has gone. He delights in informing her that they discussed her memo on the airplane. He mentions that Rhea participated, to the surprise of Shiv, "Rhea? Rhea's in town." Roman giggles and tells Shiv, "Do you know nothing of the company you're supposed to be taking over? You know, Waystar? Waystar-Royco? We do hate speech and roller coasters."
At Royco headquarters, Greg gives the Cruises documents to Tom. Shiv and Rhea meet for coffee. Rhea implies she is having an affair with Logan and wants Shiv's approval. Then Rhea maneuvers Shiv into a possible job at PGM. Rhea assures her she can, "get it floated with clean hands and they'll consider it for sure." Shiv takes the bait. Rhea's plan to help Logan works. Logan and Ken drive up for the visit. Kendall is very uncomfortable. He really does not want any part of this, but feels an obligation to his father. Logan's body guard, Colin (Scott Nicholson) stands watch next to the car. Colin had helped with the cover-up. Logan meets with the parents and with the boy's uncle while Ken sits in the kitchen. Roman and Shiv stop at a convenience store for something to eat. Meals at mom's are notoriously bad. Roman tells Shiv that she was not supposed to see her mother regarding the proxy battle. As they select snacks, Shiv jokes, "I'm just gonna get a banana. [You] Can't get food poisoning from bananas."
Greg checks to see that the bathroom is empty. He needs to check the audio quality on his "wire". He plans to record his document destruction with Tom as possible insurance. Roman and Shiv arrive at their mother's home. Lady Caroline Collingwood (Harriet Walter) is in the kitchen preparing supper. She has an interesting relationship with her children. She informs them that Ken went to the pub, so it's only three for dinner. She is serving pigeon. Caroline knows the reason for her children's unexpected visit, she sees them so infrequently. She warns them, "There's quite a lot of shot in the pigeon. So mind how you go or you'll crack a tooth. And the shot can take a bit of feather in, too." Then Caroline cuts to the chase, "Shall we begin with the negotiation straight away?" Roman handles the talks as Shiv wants no part of it. Roman quotes a number, $10 million but says the top is 40. Caroline knows her ex-husband and to Roman's surprise, she quotes $50 million as the top. Caroline counters that she wants the Summer Palace, the Hamptons House. She finally settles on $20 million and a promise that her children will spend every Christmas with her. She tells Shiv and Roman to ask their father, knowing full well he will trade away his children for a piece of real estate. Feeling guilty, Kendall returns to the dead boy's home and secretly deposits cash through the mail slot. Back at mom's kitchen, Kendall tries to talk to his mother about the incident, but both are reluctant to have the conversation. Caroline agrees to talk in the morning over breakfast. Tom and Greg put the documents on a hibachi on the balcony. Greg narrates their actions loud enough to be recorded. While Tom goes to get a lighter that works, Greg secrets some of the documents into his pants. Shiv leaves her mom's house early the next morning to confront her father. Both are reluctant to discuss matters. Exasperated, Shiv asks point blank, "I need to ask. Is it still me?" Logan pretends to not know to what she is referring. Logan tells her he knows about the Pierce job. Shiv is caught off guard, but realizes she's been set up. Logan walks away-the deal for succession is off. Kendall tells his brother that their mom has pulled a disappearing act. Kendall is disappointed, yet again, at his mother's emotionally distant behavior. Rhea and Logan settle in on the company airplane. Kendall is in the rear section with Roman. Logan hands his jacket to his bodyguard, Colin. He thanks Roman for his help with Caroline and Rhea for her help, "I think I got the noose from around my neck." Logan voices his thoughts on a new strategy for succession. He wants to look at non-family for a new CEO. Rhea spots an opportunity and proposes, "I'd be pleased to help you look." Shiv calls Ken and asks if Rhea is on the plane. An affirmative answer from her brother confirms Shiv's suspicion. She tells Kendall, "I think we've got a problem. Just be careful, okay? I think I got f**ked."
End Credits Roll.
