Sex & Nudity

  • Kate's mentions her dad left her mom and ran off with his French secretary.
  • Because Kate's mom calls her phone frequently, Kate's coworker says her mom is ruining her sex life & that her mom is like human contraception.

Violence & Gore

  • Kate tells Harvey a guy in her writing class gave them the latest installment for his pyscho-sexual thriller, followed by that he's 86 years old. Later the guy is shown sharing a passage that involves something about blood and sex.
  • A rock-a-billy song is played twice by a street band signing about being a "mean son of a gun" with quick mention of killing a man.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several occurences of responsible champagne, wine and hard alcohol drinking. Harvey's ex-wife cautions him against drinking to much alcohol so he doesn't embarass himself, like he's been known too.

  • Kate talks about how having an abortion when she was younger impacted her life and the regrets she has. She gets a bit teary eyed and emotional while talking about it.

  • Harvey shown running up stairs in his hotel and has a heart emergency because he forgot his heart medication in New York. He's shown in the hospital with a doctor ordering tests and wanting him to stay the night, while Harvey keeps insisting he can't stay and has to leave for an appointment.
