Florentine Schumann, a young biologist, has been killed by a snake bite in her laboratory. At the zoo the zookeeper Biermann explains that he has teached Florentine how to take care for the animalsand was a little like a father for her. The team knows that Florentine was working with the pharmaceutical firm Pharmatex and Alex Warnke explains Richard what was her research. Then another clue: Florentine had once an altercation with the activist Sammy: this woman didn't understand the work of Florence,besides her brother, Ben, has been for a short the boyfriend of Florentine. Last important character in this story, Almut Ziegler , the manager of the zoo who relies on the financial support of Pharmatex.
