Trivia

On the way to the beach, the office crew sings the opening theme from The Flintstones (1960-1966) in the bus. There is similar scene in the film Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987) where people sing the same song in the bus and John Candy's character yells ''Wilma'' at the end of the song, just like Michael does in this episode. Goofs

When Michael is asking Pam to cook hot dogs on the beach, she's wearing a bra that covers her back while her bikini only circles her neck. Even though earlier Pam was glad to get sunscreen from Toby, obviously the actress knew at no point would she be seen without her shirt on. See more »

Quotes

Pam Beesly: There's nothing better than a beautiful day at the beach filled with sun, surf, and uh, diligent note-taking.

Ooo, Pam cares about...herself

So, all of a sudden, Pam feels that everyone in the office ought to treat her with the respect she feels she deserves.

All the while, failing to accord anyone any kind of respect what-so-ever. Outside of her fave, Jim, of course.

Hey, congrats, Pam, obviously as one of the heroes of the series, you can do no wrong. So congrats on your new found respectability and your mediocre artwork.

If the final season of "The Office" ended with a plague of boils, or an atomic explosion (set by Pam and Jim, of course, to blame on Dwight), well, that sounds like a winner all around.
