A Chef's Voyage

This personal documentary about Chef David Kinch's journey with his team to France to cook three epic meals is filled with all of the food porn many of us love and beautiful scenery of three regions in France but also gives so much more. It's quite poignant in the way it showcases the work, drive and ambition it requires to pull off such a feat with a level of perfection Kinch is known for and gives us a glimpse into perhaps what might be considered the trade-off of having such a career. The candid interviews with some of his cooks are incredibly honest and insightful. I walked away with much more than I'd anticipated and would highly recommend this documentary.
