Kali Ma

An Indian boy is beaten up in high school because he's gay. His mother finds out and storms over to the house of the white kid who started it all. He's home alone and refuses to apologize for what he did. But you NEVER get an Indian mother mad. It escalates into a pretty violent but funny battle.

I wasn't quite sure what to make of this at first. The humor IS pretty dark and violence is not funny. But it's so over the top and (pretty obviously) faked that I was laughing myself silly by the end. The acting is excellent all around and it has a fun script. The ending is a little bit of a let down but everything before it is so good. A 9.
