The synopsis below may give away important plot points.

  • Young director Jorge Della Chiesa's opera prima, The Wait (2006) is a short cut produced in Mar del Plata, Argentina. It casts a critical eye on routine as a way of life, represented by an obsessive and fastidious young man (Lucas Ferraro), who is surprised one day by an apparently insignificant event that opens up a whole new dimension. The film criticizes that inflexible way of understanding reality that so often prevents us from enjoying life in all its intensity and lightness. (17,30 minutes)
