Trivia

The battle of Dunkirk took place between May 26 and June 4, 1940. The Lee-Enfield rifles seen in this movie at close up reveal them to be the Model Rifle No. 4 Mk I, which were not in military service until 1941 and the other being the Model No. 4 Mk 2 which were not manufactured until 1949. Goofs

Danny Finnegan is involved in several bouts, but between fights, his wounds miraculously partially healed before the next fight. Given that the battle of Dunkirk was only seven days and an event during his fights show that the series of fights occurred within those 7 days, it is impossible have wounds heal so rapidly, nor fail to produce severe swelling and bruising that would last for many days, certainly more days than the seven day battle. Great british film making
15 August 2020 | by margaretpnicholsSee all my reviews

Really well written and well presented film, a great experience. You really feel like you connect with the character, Danny (played by Sam Gittins); and are charmed by the performance of Jennifer Martin as Chantelle. All the actors convey the intensity of the situation.Without giving anything away, the ending is quite a journey!

I would recommend giving this film a watch -- it's an excellent low-budget british film.
