Storyline

The year is 1980 in the quiet suburban town of Rockford Minnesota. This is where we meet our protagonist, little Ash Belford, a high school freshman who hasn't quite found his place. You see, Ash suffers from a great fear of change. He still plays with action figures from an outdated kids' show and hides from reality behind a TV screen. To Ash, it's easier to be a bystander watching his life pass by than it is to take the wheel. Little does Ash realize on the first night of Christmas Break, a cosmic event will occur that will shatter his whole reality. One of the most significant events the town has ever seen. A lunar anomaly that will transform the citizens of Rockford into mindless shells, unable to think or act for themselves. Somehow, Ash seems to be the only person immune to the seduction of the moon, but by the time he realizes the scope of the anomaly, most of the town has already been transformed. With his football-star brother Robert and his wuss friend Chuck relying on him ...
