So Many In the Dark
4 April 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

Sometimes these series are a bit contrived. Ellen stands charged with David's murder so we again drop back to three and a half weeks previous to the event. Ellen and David's relationship was strained. He is a doctor and she, of course, is trying her best to keep up with Patty's wishes. There is a really uncomfortable dinner at Patty's house where David feels totally out of place. Patty delivers her harridan advice to Ellen about not having anything to do with men unless they can control you. The other plot parts involve Gregory Malina filled with guilt and putting his life in danger. Patty is planning to subpoena him and the big guns are after him. Frobisher is stupidly trying to get a book written about him. He can't get it through his head that his childhood would be of no interest to others and he has an ugly confrontation with the ghost writer which leads to bad publicity, the opposite of what Frobisher wants. Ray, Frobisher's lawyer and friend, is on the verge of a breakdown, having not slept forever. And finally, Lila, the woman from the hospital, is stalking David. She makes an interesting appearance at the end of the episode.
