Quotes

[first lines]
Detective Dan Williams: Bloody, half naked, wandering the streets at 7:00 A.M.
Susan Marsden: Just your type. You get a name?
Beat Cop: She's not responsive. All we found on her was this.
Detective Dan Williams: [reading bloody business card] "Hollis M. Nye, attorney-at-law." The rest is a mess.
Beat Cop: I guess we know her lawyer.
Detective Dan Williams: Or her John.
Susan Marsden: Or both. You want to get her some clothes?
Susan Marsden: [thinking out loud] Who the hell are you, sweetheart?

A great hook!
4 April 2008 | by the-gossip-kingSee all my reviews

The show opens with some time flips which are not as confusing as a lot of shows make them. It hooks me right in. The story then jumps back to a wedding where we meet Rachel Dawes. Glenn Close comes and visits Rachel Dawes as smooth and as slimy as she could ever be and Rachel is immediately drawn into her dark world. She gets a job at Patty Hewe's (Glenn Close) firm where they are taking on Arthur Frobisher. The stakes are high and this show just makes me want to see the rest of the series more and more. My only problem with the movie was the ending pretty much summed up what the next couple of episodes were leading up to. Regardless of that hiccup I was still very impressed and will continue watching!
