Lynette decides to team with Karen McCluskey to have a private memorial service for their neighbor by scattering her ashes on a old baseball field. Meanwhile, Bree and Orson move in with Susan and Julie while their house is being repaired, only to find themselves recruiting Andrew to woo their contractor to get him to finish the damaged roof of their house, while Susan, more emotionally vulnerable and crazy then ever, plots to get Bree to stay to keep her company while Mike is in rehab. Gabrielle learns that Milton Lang has cut her out of her husband's will, leaving her broke, while Carlos is in the hospital blinded from his injuries. Also, Katherine kicks Adam out of their house after finding out that he lied about having an affair with the late Sylvia Greeen, but an incriminating letter left by Katherine's late aunt forces the both of them to come to terms with a dark secret, and Dylan also discovers the letter.—Anonymous

- Fire-fighters finally get Tom and the kids out of the remains of Karen McCluskey's house. Ida Greenberg has died saving the Scavo's. Gaby is at the hospital with a seriously ill Carlos. Bob's awful statue has been demolished.
Katherine and Adam identify Sylvia's body. When Adam attempts to apologize over his infidelity Katherine tells him to leave.
Later on, Karen and Lynette sort through Ida's belongings, where it emerges that Ida was a star baseball player in the All-American Girl's League during the second world war. Lynette is told by her kids that Ida made them get under the stairs after Tom passed out from his asthma, but she feels guilty when told Ida's body was found farther away as there was no room for her.
The Hodge's move in with Susan. Gaby is told from Milton that she's not getting a penny from Victor's estate as everything is in Milton's name. Susan and Julie feel much more optimistic about the Hodge's living with them when Bree does all the housework.
An injured Carlos reassures Gaby that they have money. Bree sets up Andrew with their contractor to get him to complete the job quickly and cheaply, but Susan sabotages the date to get Bree to stay. Adam finds the note Katherine's aunt wrote.
Karen and Lynette break into the local baseball field to scatter Ida's ashes there as she wanted, against her niece and nephew's wishes (having replaced the ashes with dust). They are eventually caught and held in custody.
Gaby has visited the accountant's widow, but all information regarding their offshore account has been destroyed. She visits Carlos and tells him, but he doesn't let on that he's now lost his sight.
Karen lets on to Lynette that she has been picked up by the police twice before, so was lucky this wasn't her third strike. They bond as Karen tells her the story.
Adam makes it clear he is leaving Katherine, she is not throwing him out. He says he fell for her lies when she blamed her ex-husband for 'the incident;' that she is more than even with him on the betrayal stakes and he hands her the note. She panics and throws the torn note in the fire. Dylan has been listening. The next morning, she goes through the embers and pieces the note together.
