"Kirby Plaza" is actually the City National Plaza in Los Angeles. The red stair step art piece in the fountain is "Double Ascention" and has been a favorite piece of public art since 1973.

Goofs
In "Seven Minutes to Midnight", Mohinder's mother says that his sister, Shanti, dies when Mohinder was two. In "The Hard Part", Mohinder says that Shanti died before he was born.

Chapter Twenty-One 'The Hard Part'

Sylar starts to feel remorse when he reckons that he might explode and kill half of New York.

He goes to see his mother and the audience learns why Sylar thought so much about being special. Maybe his mother left Sylar unbalanced.

Hiro and Ando watch Sylar showing off his powers to his mother leading to deadly results.

Mohinder does a deal with Thompson in order to stop Sylar.

I was left puzzled how Sylar's sensitive hearing was conveniently tone deaf when Hiro and Ando show up in Mendez's apartment.

The episode does suffer from being a filler episode. The 23 episode season was frankly too long and this episode just held the story back.
