Storyline

Water erosion from a broken water main reveals a body which is too young to belong in St. Agatha parish's cemetery. The Jeffersonian team examines possible causes of death, and thus contracts a fungal infection. Spurred by Bones' irreverent faith-bashing, Booth convinces Bones to seek Dr. Gordon Wyatt's help to analyze and fix their stressed relationship. Young parishioners identify the body as the late priest who used to assist in the parish. The boys, tyrannical, aging curate father William Donlan and his more liberal present aid, father Matthew Sands, are key to several theories. Written by KGF Vissers

Trivia

Towards the end of the episode, Angela Montenegro comments to Gordan Wyatt (Stephen Fry) "You know, the accent makes everything that you say sound really smart". This line was taken from an observation made by Stephen Fry. Stephen Fry's quote was "I sometimes wonder if you Americans aren't often fooled by our accent into detecting a brilliance that may not really be there." See more »

Romantic Tension!
16 July 2016 | by See all my reviews

I must give this episode a ten because of the Booth and Brennan storyline!!!

In this episode, Brennan finds a body of a murdered man in a cemetery. Unfortunately, the murder leads to a Catholic church - and a log of fighting between the atheist, Brennan and the Catholic, Booth. The two do their best to work together to figure out how murdered the priest. As usual, there are many twists and turns that go into solving the crime.

In the previous episode, Brennan chose to stay instead of go off into the sunset with her boyfriend, Sully. Both Booth and Brennan are tense with each other and see the help of Dr. Wyatt. I knew exactly what Dr. Wyatt was doing, and Angela, in all her wisdom, nailed it at the very end of this episode. But Dr. Wyatt's answer was what Booth and Brennan needed to hear in order to get back into the groove of working together.

This is really the first time it's confirmed on the show that there is a romance developing between the B & B team.

Angela and Jack are still hot and heavy in their relationship. In fact, Angela struggles over the answer to Jack's question.
