Storyline

Ryan Wieber and Micheal "Dorkman" Scott return to try and prove who is better at the light saber. The pair battle again and once more the pair appear equal. They fight each other through various obstacles and at one point both disarm each other, briefly contemplating fist fighting each other to decide, but choose against it and reclaim their lightsabers. After a long battle, Dorkman exposes his arm and Ryan cuts it off, and slashes Dorkman's leg, causing him to fall. Dorkman attempts to use the force to regain his lightsaber from his severed hand, but Ryan stops this and cuts it in two. Detemined to make Dorkman suffer, Ryan plunges his saber into Dorkman's shoulder; however as the hilt gets nearer to Dorkman, he takes his chance. Dorkman kicks Ryan back and the lightsaber falls by him. With the last ounce of his strength, Dorkman takes the lightsaber and throws it at Ryan, cutting him in two. Dorkman gets up and begins to limp away, turning back to kick Ryan's body.

Trivia

When Ryan and Dorkman have both dropped their lightsabers they face one another ready to engage in a fist-fight, but then turn around and run to get their sabers. They had originally choreographed a hand-to-hand fight, with no weapons, but due to time constraints decided not to shoot it. So instead they had each character simultaneously change their mind for comical relief. See more »

An excellent short
9 August 2009 | by Jesse DixonSee all my reviews

This short, made by Ryan Weiber and Michael Scott, is possibly more exciting than anything from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. With excellent production values, good special effects, and thrilling action, this is one of the best fan films I have ever seen. It would have been nice to have a little back story, but hey, what more do you need than a good light saber duel. The two have gone on to larger projects, working on Heroes and Night at the Museum 2, but I can still hope for a Ryan Vs. Dorkman 3.

I hope that these two do well in the movie business, all I can do is wish them luck.
