Nick goes to Tucson, Arizona and searches the Sonoran Desert for the horned lizard, which is a master at camouflage and squirts blood from its eye as a last line of defense. He also comes across cacti, several snakes (Western rattlesnake, coral, gopher, garter and blind snakes), a spiny lizard, and harvester ants.
