Jealous of Ariel's happiness, a grumpy sorcerer blowfish casts a spell on her.

A disgruntled magic clown fish puts a spell on Ariel after she laughs at him. The spell was that every time Ariel would laugh, an earthquake would erupt in her vacinity. After that happened a time or two, Ariel is determined not to laugh, which she doesn't for a week. After seeing Ariel glum for a week straight, Sebastian tries to cheer her up. Eventually they learn of the magic fish, so Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian go to Abracadabra-lo, where two other sorcerer blowfish have fun transforming Sebastian & Flounder into bigger and badder creatures and eventually each other. Ariel finds the glum clownfish and attempts to convince him to remove the laughter spell. Instead he switches Sebastian & Flounder back to normal, the other two sorcerer blowfish put them in the bubble mines. Eventually Ariel uses the laughter spell against the other two sorcerer blowfish. They eventually let Ariel & friends go, the original clownfish regains his pride, and Ariel's laughter spell is removed at last.
