Storyline

Movie star Brody Lassiter's corps is found in the trunk of a stunt car on a Miami film set. Stuntman Rod Vickers has secretly been clubbing with Brody as designated driver before returning him to his rehab clinic, White Sands, where he was hung, no suicide. So there is no shortage of suspects and possible stories. It soon is found the clinic's director, Peter Ashford, has cameras in every room, to make shots for informal publicity purposes; one of the patients is fake, a journalist... Then there's Lassiter's movie connections, even a youth neighborhood friend, Eddie Corbett, who was Brody's personal minder... Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

When the body is discovered in the trunk of a car, the CSI's make a big point that the stunt driver was the only person with the key and therefore the only person that could have locked the body in the trunk. When the rehab manager brings the body out to the car, he opens the trunk without any key for it. See more »

Hard To Be Rehabilitated With A Noose Around Your Neck
14 December 2007 | by ccthemovieman-1See all my reviews

A dead actor is found in the trunk of a car, one just used in a spectacular chase-and-action scene. The stuntman has no answers to what happened, nor does the director, nor does the actor's best bud, but somebody must know something.

It turns out the actor died from asphyxiation from hanging in his room at a swanky drug and alcohol rehab place in Miami, a rehab for the stars, as they label it. It is quickly discovered this was no suicide.

The CSI team goes to work finding clues in the room and through other re-hab patients and workers there to get the final answers. Along the way is a nice little story near the end of a nice, wholesome girl - the kind you don't see too often on this show - being encouraged by Eric Delko. That part was good to see.
