Storyline

Crazy Sexy Cancer is an irreverent and uplifting documentary about a young woman looking for a cure and finding her life. Weeks after she was diagnosed, filmmaker Kris Carr began documenting her story. Taking a seemingly tragic situation and turning it into a creative expression, Kris shares her inspirational story of survival with honesty, courage, and lots of humor. Crazy Sexy Cancer is more than a film, it's an attitude! It's about rising to the challenge of life, and no matter what, refusing to give up who you are at your core. This story is as funny as it is frightening, as joyous as it is outrageous. Ultimately, Crazy Sexy Cancer is a thought provoking film about friendship, love and growing up. Written by Anonymous

Great for anyone affected by "the C word."

Kris Carr is an extraordinary young lady. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2008, and found a lump in my breast this year. Her story gave me hope! Even with a grime diagnoses, you can overcome illness with alternative medicine, diet, and a kick ass attitude. They documentary illustrates the real-life ups and downs of cancer. The film shows Kris during her good and bad days. We also get to watch her grow from hopeless victim, to a fearless warrior.

There is a variety of tips that anyone can use in everyday life. From spirituality, to acupuncture, and other methods of coping.

In addition to the film, Kris Carr has written a few books on cancer and diet. They are excellent companions to the film. Great reading material that your average person can "totally get."
