Being a lawman has hidden rewards

This episode has a darker tone than others in the series.The narrative calls to mind other Westerns in terms of a conflicted bad guy.An incentive for Buck Newly to choose right is a regular part on Gunsmoke. Robert Taylor makes the episode work.
