Trivia

McKay wants to give Sheppard a condensed description of what's going on and says "I'll give you the Cole's Notes," which he later corrects to "Cliff's Notes" for Sheppard's benefit. Cole's Notes are the Canadian version of Cliff's Notes. See more »

Goofs

Atlantis is seen drifting through space with the city perpendicular to the direction of motion, however, the star drive propels the city from the bottom, and therefore should be seen moving parallel to the line of motion since the drive failed and there was no mention (let alone power or reason) to change the city's orientation after it had fallen out of hyper space. Quotes

Lt. Colonel John Sheppard: [responding to Rodney's watered-down explanation of the city's power situation] You dumb this down any more, you're gonna get hit.

Adrift
8 February 2007 | by See all my reviews

Well considering the title Adrift it could point to where season 3 episode 20 left off. Atlantis has been launched into space to evade the replicator laser. They have just dropped out of hyperspace prematurely and they realise this has to do with there ZPM being depleted. The whole of Atlantis is stuck without any planets or star-gates and no reference points. They have 24 hours of power left before they loose there atmosphere.

What plan will they think of next and why didn't they just use the beam as a power source for their shield. They could have done it the replicators could just a few gate capacitors and a medium and they could use the beam as a power source!.
