Trivia
McKay wants to give Sheppard a condensed description of what's going on and says "I'll give you the Cole's Notes," which he later corrects to "Cliff's Notes" for Sheppard's benefit. Cole's Notes are the Canadian version of Cliff's Notes.

Goofs
Atlantis is seen drifting through space with the city perpendicular to the direction of motion, however, the star drive propels the city from the bottom, and therefore should be seen moving parallel to the line of motion since the drive failed and there was no mention (let alone power or reason) to change the city's orientation after it had fallen out of hyper space.

A Let Down After The Great Season Three Ending

Atlantis is lost in space.

This is not the direction I wanted season four to go in. The season three finale ended with Atlantis lost in space and I suspected and hoped the writers were going to take the series in a totally new direction.

Frankly, I am getting a little bored with this Stargate Atlantis (but I am still watching) so give us a new enemy that do not behave like fugitives from an old Dracula movie.
