The pictures of the Cigarette Man corpse that Stella shows Damon are tagged in the bottom corner "Det. D. Messer" indicating that Danny would have taken the pictures. Danny isn't working on the case with Stella, he is working with Mac on the dead con man.
Stella gave Sid mouth to mouth resuscitation after he collapsed due to anaphylactic shock. It would have been impossible to get air into his lungs, no matter how hard Stella tried to get any air into his lungs. An allergic attack severe enough to cause the patient to collapse would mean that the patient's airway would have literally closed down. No air could have passed into Sid's airway. If Sid was still breathing, it would have been possible for any rescuer to hear the hoarseness and wheezing. The silence indicated that Sid could not get any air into his lungs, either through his own breather, nor via CPR.
