      • Trivia
Andy Clyde appeared in 36 Hoppalong Cassidy films as sidekick California Carlson. As a guest star in this episode he wore the famous Hoppalong Cassidy hat, a black 10 gallon hat with the lid pushed into a tall point with a long vertical groove on the front. Although it's not officially known if the hat he wore was one used by Cassidy (William Boyd), as a long time participant in the Hoppalong Cassidy film series one can assume safely that it was.
