We’ve got a new featurette for you to watch today that puts the spotlight on those giant cities and how they function in this world as well as how they were created. On top of showing off new footage, the video also features interviews with member of the cast and crew.

As Jackson says in the video, the movie will give audiences something that they’ve genuinely never seen before.

The film comes from director Christian Rivers from a script co-written by Jackson himself and Philippa Boyens. The movie is based on the British series of novels by Philip Reeve and this is the synopsis:

Ahs: Apocalypse Finale: It’s a Time Traveling Bloodbath As We Say Goodbye To Season 8
Spoiler Alert: The following article contains details of tonight’s season finale of American Horror Story Apocalypse.

In what could be the ultimate crossover event in American Horror Story history — actually, it’s probably the only one. There was plenty of time traveling, some surprise appearances from familiar faces (hello Marie Laveau!), a lot of bloodshed, and yes, even more time traveling. As we saw the previous seasons of Murderhouse, Coven and even a smidge of Hotel converge, it was a raucous, campy time that was totally on brand for the Ryan Murphy FX franchise.

The finale brought us back in time closer to the start of the season. At Outpost 3, Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) and the gang brought Dinah (Adina Porter), Coco (Leslie Grossman), and Mallory (Billie Lourd) back from the dead. And of course, Michael (Cody Fern), the fabulous anti-christ doing

The Mandalorian Set Photos Confirm The Return Of Death Troopers

The Mandalorian and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story may have an entire trilogy separating them in the Star Wars timeline, but that’s not to say that they can’t share some common ground. For one thing, they’re both satellite works to this franchise’s main saga, but what’s more, this latest batch of set photos from Jon Favreau’s upcoming series indicates that we’ll be seeing the return of a certain type of baddie that Gareth Edwards’ film first introduced.

The pics come courtesy of MakingStarWars.net, and they show what are widely believed to be Death Troopers. These all-black figures made their screen debut in the 2016 spinoff film, and have since appeared in Star Wars Rebels, though The Mandalorian will likely mark the second time we see them in live-action form.

In anticipation of a new trailer later tonight, Walt Disney Pictures has released a new poster for the Tim Burton-directed live-action remake of the beloved animated classic Dumbo which sees the titular elephant taking flight.

Disney’s new live-action feature film “Dumbo” introduces Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell), a former circus star who finds his life turned upside down when he returns from the war. Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian Casts Deadpool Actress

Get ready for some Mma combat in a galaxy far, far away, because the news just broke that Gina Carano has joined the cast of The Mandalorian.

The mixed martial artist turned film star has made appearances in such franchise outings as Fast & Furious 6 and Deadpool, though some of you may know her best for her starring role in the 2011 thriller Haywire. In any case, it seems that Lucasfilm is set on bringing us a little hand-to-hand spectacle in their upcoming Star Wars spinoff series.

Though the Disney Plus show has been filming for well over a month, casting details remain thin. So far, the only other actor announced for the series is Pedro Pascal of Narcos and Game of Thrones fame, with a Variety report breaking the story just yesterday.

Richard Madden Says He’s Meeting With ‘Bodyguard’ Creator to Talk Season 2 Ideas (Video)

  • The Wrap
(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Netflix’s “Bodyguard” through the finale.)

David Budd needs a break. The lead character played by Richard Madden in BBC’s thriller series “Bodyguard” — which made its way stateside last month with a launch on Netflix — ended the show’s six-episode run totally spent. But you probably would be too if you were a Ptsd-plagued war vet turned Specialist Protection Officer for London’s Metropolitan Police Service, tasked with protecting Home Secretary Julia Montague (Keeley Hawes) — before she was blown up in a terrorist attack.

Madden told TheWrap in a recent interview that Budd — who finds out in the finale that the person behind all of this was a woman who he underestimated in the first moments of the premiere — deserves to unwind if the show gets renewed for a second season.

Game of Thrones: If This Theory Is True, Gendry Is Destined to Sit on the Iron Throne

Game of Thrones: If This Theory Is True, Gendry Is Destined to Sit on the Iron Throne
After three long seasons spent rowing, Game of Thrones season seven finally answered the question of what happened to Gendry. Everyone's favorite blacksmith was chilling in King's Landing while he waited for someone to invite him back into the action. Now that he's returned to the fold, Gendry could play a major role in the final season. In fact, if this fascinating theory from The Nerdist is right, then Robert Baratheon's bastard could end up sitting on the Iron Throne when the final episode arrives.

The idea of Gendry inheriting the Iron Throne may sound ludicrous on the surface, but the theory has merit. Sure, he's a minor character, but he has a powerful connection to one of Westeros's oldest families. Even though he's not Robert's legitimate son, he's technically the last remaining Baratheon that we know of. That made him enough of a threat for Joffrey to want him

Mark Your Calendars: Game of Thrones Season 8 Will Premiere in April 2019

Mark Your Calendars: Game of Thrones Season 8 Will Premiere in April 2019
We've been pulling our hair out for months trying to guess when the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones would finally drop. Although Maisie Williams (our resident Arya Stark) gave an interview earlier in 2018 to UK-based paper Metro and revealed the month in which the first episode would appear - April 2019 - she later retracted her quotes in a tweet. "Just a tweet letting you know this Game of Thrones release date 'quote' I've supposedly given is completely false and taken from an interview I did years ago."

HBO didn't respond to the rumor at the time, but luckily we now have official confirmation of the premiere date courtesy of the Game of Thrones Twitter account: it is April 2019!

‘Game of Thrones’ Director Says Every Season 8 Episode Runs Longer Than 60 Minutes

‘Game of Thrones’ Director Says Every Season 8 Episode Runs Longer Than 60 Minutes
Rumors have been circulating for months that each installment in the final season of “Game of Thrones” will run feature-length or close to feature-length, which has led most fans to assume episodes with running times around the 80 minute mark. While HBO won’t confirm anything about the finale season other than an April 2019 premiere date, “Thrones” director David Nutter revealed during a Reddit Ama that all six episodes in Season 8 will run longer than an hour.

“Season 8 episodes will all I think be longer than 60 minutes,” Nutter said. “They’ll be dancing around the bigger numbers, I know that for sure.”

Nutter is famous for directing the third season episode “The Rains of Castamere,” which featured the infamous Red Wedding that remains to this day one of the most shocking moments in television history. The director was also behind the camera for the fifth season finale, “Mother’s Mercy,” which won him an Emmy award.

Robert Zemeckis Returns To Science Fiction With ‘Project Blue Book’ & ‘Bios’

Robert Zemeckis Returns To Science Fiction With ‘Project Blue Book’ & ‘Bios’
Exclusive: Now this has a familiar ring to it: Robert Zemeckis is revisiting the 1950s to rewrite history with one new project and then he’s going back to the future to prove the power of love with a second project.

No, Zemeckis isn’t revving up the DeLorean for more Marty McFly sequels — however, the director of the Back to the Future trilogy (1985-1990) and Contact (1997) is making a relatively rare return to science fiction with the two projects. This time around, however, his foray into the genre is in a producing role. On Monday, Zemeckis talked about the two projects: Bios, the upcoming feature film; and Project Blue Book, a television series that premieres in January on History.

Bios, scheduled to start filming early next year, reunites Zemeckis with one of his most celebrated collaborators. “We’re producing a really magnificent science fiction project called Bios with Tom Hanks,
