It's the annual Church fête, and after a but if squabbling, the committee opt for Terry's idea, a Pageant, of historical England.

I only saw an episode of this for the first time today, and was impressed, this was a much funnier episode.

What a cast! Now that's what you call an ensemble comedy cast, Mollie Sugden, Patsy Smart, Patricia Hayes and of course the magical Joan Hickson.

Very funny from start to finish, lots of temper tantrums, and misunderstandings of the French language. For all of the amazing people here, I thought Patsy Smart had some of the funniest lines, terrific as the dotty spinsters.
