When they got to the hideout where TWO-MIX was held tied up. They were all cornered by one of the kidnappers: Miyahara Satoshi. Who was taken off a murder case he was involved last New Year's eve. And the demo tape contained lyrics of what TWO-MIX over heard from what really happen during the murder. The lyric itself is evidence enough to put Satoshi behind bars. So to avoid the risk of the police hearing the song on the radio. He lite the hideout on fire and locked the front door to let Conan, TWO-MIX, and the kids burn alive.
