Worth a look.

This is a very short and simple little film that is included on the DVD for "The Atomic Submarine"--a recent release in the usually quite sophisticated Criterion Collection. I say usually because a few cheap sci-fi films (such as "The Atomic Submarine" and "Robinson Crusoe on Mars" have somehow made it into their collection of foreign and art films. This is NOT a complaint--just something that surprised me a bit when I found the DVD.

"Atomic Recall" simply consists of the prolific actor, Brett Halsey, discussing a couple of his films--"Submarine Seahawk" and "Atomic Submarine". These films were early in his career and were very low-budget affairs. Halsey discussing what it was like to make them as well as a bit about a couple other films he made in that era. In addition, various clips and photos are used. Surprisingly, it was pretty fascinating--and Halsey had a nice way of talking to the audience. Worth a look if you see "Atomic Submarine".
