Iggy (Andrew Misle) invites Jane (Teresa Pavlinek) to come see his band, Lucky Heather, play a gig one night. It's not really Jane's scene, but not wanting to disappoint Iggy she agrees to go, dragging Susan (Patricia Zentilli) along with her for moral support. Much to Jane's surprise, Iggy's band turns out to be incredibly talented. Not only that, but the boys clamour to get some musical guidance from Jane, claiming it's rare they get an actual "artist", like themselves, checking them out. At first, Jane is unsure of herself, what does she know about music? But a couple of bluffs later, Jane finds her footing, and before she and Iggy know it, Jane's managing the band, with all the flair of a modern day Brian Epstein. However, like many sordid rock and roll stories, it's not long before band infighting pits Jane the visionary against Iggy, the disillusioned, emasculated singer, with their conflict spilling its way, much to the irritation of Stella (Kate Trotter), into the office.
