An interesting set of characters prevail in this mystery.
Banks are being robbed, Marriott is on ha he to catch one of the duo, who turns out to be a suffragette.
It's an interesting storyline, Cork has many progressive ideas, here he once again shows that, being sympathetic towards suffrage, for 1964, the ideas he holds are ahead of the game. It's not particularly great as a mystery, because it's all rather obvious, but as a character study it's very, very good.
It's nice that Marriott finally gets to show off that he's clever, and not just there to make up the numbers.
Jane Hylton is wonderful as Lady Martha, truly charismatic, she delivers here lines with the utmost sincerity.
Good. 6/10
