Bill and Coker venture further afield, Bill eventually going his own way in a bid to try and find Jo.
This is a very bleak penultimate episode, Bill's journey along the countryside is very revealing, it's very evident that The Triffids have caused huge devastation. Some of the images of dead corpses littered around garages and fields are very poignant, very dark.
I've mentioned before that this show has felt like Survivors at times, I feel that again here, so much death and devastation, with a desperation to restart humanity.
I am slightly curious to know how on Earth The Triffids managed to spread around the country so quickly, they only have those little legs. They do add a degree of terror here.
There is a sense of relief at the end of this one, nice that throughout all of the death and disease, there is at least a glimmer of hope.
I really like Maurice Colbourne here, he and Duttine made for a good duo, two very strong actors.
8/10.
