Batman Wants To Be An Avenger In Hilarious New Conan Spoof

2018 marks the fourth year that Conan O’Brien has brought his TBS late night talk show to San Diego Comic-Con. Taped at the historic Spreckels Theater, the crimson-haired host will be sitting down with the cast of Glass today and Aquaman Sunday, having already chatted with the cast of Breaking Bad on Wednesday and The Predator stars on Thursday. So make sure you’re tuning in if you haven’t been already.

Never short on a high profile cameo, or topical spoof, Conan may not be as well versed in the superhero arena as his crowd, but O’Brien doesn’t let that get in the way of making an apt observation on the current state of comic book cinema. And so far, this year has been no different.

The late night host kicked-off his first 2018 Comic-Con episode by poking fun at the financial and critical disparity between the Marvel

Better Call Saul Cast Teases Season 4, Puzzles Over Gus Fring's Origin Story
Better Call Saul is all about showing us how Jimmy McGill became Saul Goodman… but how did Gus Fring become Gus Fring?

The cast of AMC’s Breaking Bad prequel pondered that mystery with Michael Ausiello in TVLine’s San Diego Comic-Con video suite on Friday, with Bob Odenkirk asking co-star Giancarlo Esposito — who plays the enigmatic drug lord — how his character “developed that… cold, cold part of himself.” Esposito theorizes that Gus must’ve had “a very traumatic childhood,” before teasing that we may get some hints about Gus’ true origins in the upcoming Season 4 (debuting next month).

‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Trailer: Get Ready For Flying Zombies, As a Hurricane Hits the Second Half of Season 4
Flying zombies are a thing. A storm is brewing, and will hit “Fear the Walking Dead” as the show returns next month for the second half of Season 4.

As the show’s characters deal with some “weighty existential questions,” executive producer Andrew Chambliss said the producers also decided to throw a hurricane into the mix. “We thought we’d make it more fun to answer by throwing walkers in the air at 200 miles an hour!”

Newcomers to the show in the second half of Season 4 include Aaron Stanford (“12 Monkeys”), Stephen Henderson (“Lady Bird”), Mo Collins, Tonya Pinkins, and Darryl “Chill” Mitchell, who will play the first character in the “Walking Dead” universe to be in a wheelchair. “They’ll bring different energies to the show,” said executive producer Ian Goldberg. “Some will bring hope, some will take away that hope!”

Lennie James, whose character, Morgan, moved from “Walking Dead” to “Fear the Walking Dead,

Better Call Saul Will Have Breaking Bad Overlap In Season 4

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul will soon collide in a way we've never seen before. That's what we're learning at the Hall H panel for Better Call Saul anyway, as Ep Peter Gould and creator Vince Gilligan teased the audience with some very cryptic reveals:

"You are going to see some stuff"“You want the last hill on the rollercoaster to be the scariest of all,”

We'll just have to wait and see what that all means when Better Call Saul Season 4 premieres August 6. What I would love to see is that the present day storyline somehow brings Aaron Paul and Jimmy back together, although I'm sure that won't happen.

Aaron Paul's Daughter Made Her Comic-Con Debut And Made a Hazmat Suit Look Adorable
This might just be the most adorable cosplay we've ever seen at Comic-Con.

Aaron Paul's daughter, Story Annabelle, made her Comic-Con debut at the Breaking Bad 10-year anniversary panel and caused quite a stir. The 5-month-old was dressed in a miniature hazmat suit, similar to the ones that Walter White and Jesse Pinkman don while cooking meth. She even had a miniature respirator mask to give the outfit true authenticity. Story didn't stick around long before Aaron handed her off to his wife, Lauren Parsekian, but she definitely made an impression among the Breaking Bad fans!

Aaron and Lauren tied the knot back in May 2013 and welcomed Story in February.

‘Breaking Bad’ Reunion: Creator and Stars on Whether Heisenberg’s Meth Caused ‘The Walking Dead’ Zombie Outbreak
Is there an AMC Creative Universe? The cast of “Breaking Bad” and creator Vince Gilligan held a reunion on Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the landmark show’s premiere. Among the questions asked by fans: Could there be any truth to the rumor that “The Walking Dead” lives in the same world as “Breaking Bad”?

Here’s the idea: Walter White’s blue crystal meth may have eventually triggered the zombie apocalypse.

“I love that theory,” Gilligan said. “That was a kick. They’re two great shows, ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Fear the Walking Dead.'” Star Bryan Cranston quipped that he liked the idea as well: “Walt is dead, so he could be a zombie right now. Heisenberg zombie! My agents are out here, we should talk.”

Will ‘Better Call Saul’ Go Full ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern’? Maybe, Showrunners say
We already know “Better Call Saul” is going catch up to the timeline of its predecessor “Breaking Bad” in some way during the upcoming fourth season, but does that mean Easter eggs, or will the stories become parallel narratives?

Showrunners Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan wouldn’t say for sure, but they did indicate that they’re considering the latter possibility at the “Better Call Saul” panel Thursday afternoon in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con.

In response to a fan asking if “Better Call Saul” will ever catch up to “Breaking Bad” and run in a parallel timeline, a la “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead” — which is set in the background of “Hamlet” — Gould said “I’d like to see that. We’ll see.”
