A story of a young girl suffering from a heart weakness. Doctor predicted her one week to live. No problem for her, she always wanted to die anyway... Really?
The story is a common variation of "What would you do if you knew that the following week would be the last one in your life?" However, Here Lies Aino Koski is still a pleasant surprise. What I really appreciate about this movie is it's not trying to make you cry for all its costs. It's simple, natural and amazingly it succeeded in avoiding clichés of the genre. Aino Koski is simply my Nordic favourite (but do not take me seriously I'm not much of a Nordic movie buff). The only problem what I had with this movie is the length. Sixty minutes is too much for a story which would take a few seconds to describe. But it's never too boring because of the great acting and directing. I really recommend. Enjoy it as I do.
