Trama

Steam tells the stories of three women, linked only by the steam room at the local gym. The women seem "stuck" in life, until each one finds a fulfilling new relationship.

The movie centers around the lives of three women; one a young coed, one a forty-something, and one a senior citizen. All three are single for different reasons. The coed is never-married, the forty-something is a divorcee, and the senior lady is a widow. The one commonality is that they all seem to find themselves in the sauna of the local gym all at the same time where they slowly get to know each other and talk about the trials and tribulations of their lives.

Ally Sheedy is a Single mom turned trainwreck. Kate is a young college girl from a strict Catholic family, who discovers she likes girls. Ruby Dee loses her husband and then her boyfriend.
