As a running joke, it appears that Overbeck (second in command in the police's murder squad) has no first name. Everyone just calls him "Overbeck"; one time, a girlfriend uses the diminutive "OvI'; at another time, when he is asked for his first name, he answers "Kommissar. Kommissar Overbeck" (Kommissar being the job title of any police officer). Some visible letters and door signs, however, suggest his first name may be "Lars". See more »
