A chance roadside encounter with a seemingly reformed Leo sets Rose's heart a flutter. Rose decides to keep the ensuing romance a secret from her mother and arranges a series of clandestine meets with the much older Leo.

Rose makes the acquaintance of Leo Coombes and begins to see him secretly unaware of the history between Leo and her mother Stevie. The sparks begin to fly between Jodi and Riley during an overnight muster and he finally reveals a bit more of himself to Jodi. Elsewhere, Patrick discovers a ring-box in Dave's jeep and tells Kate about it who believes Dave is about to propose to Regan.

Rose decides to keep the ensuing romance a secret from her mother and arranges a series of clandestine meets with the much older Leo. Rose is clearly falling for him in a major way but does Leo really care about Rose? Or is he harbouring a far more sinister agenda? An overnight muster brings Jodi and Riley into sparring range for an extended period leading to a series of pranks which result in Riley opening up and revealing a bit more of himself to Jodi. Disappointed by an anticipated marriage proposal from Dave that does not materialise, Regan takes stock of her feelings and presents him with the idea that they should get married. When he assumes she's joking and laughs at the idea, Regan is devastated.
