Storyline

The attack to rescue everyone on New Caprica begins. The Galactica encounters four rather than the expected two Cylon Basestars. The end appears in sight but they get help from a welcome but unexpected source. On the planet below, Tyrol and Anders lead the attack to free everyone from the prison. Anders finds Starbuck but she won't leave without Kacey. Her successful return to the Galactica results in mixed emotions. Colonel Tigh must decide what to do about his wife Ellen after she admits to giving the rendezvous coordinates to the Cylons. Hera doesn't make it off the planet. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

Admiral Adama shaves his mustache with a Merkur/Solinger "Vision" double-edged safety razor, made in Germany: a modern design of a shaving technology prevalent from the early 1900s through the early 1970s, when it was replaced by disposable, multi-bladed "cartridge" razors. His shaving technique, however, is much too aggressive for such a razor. If there was a blade present in the razor he was using, mashing it in to his face and dragging it downward, handle-down, Edward James Olmos would have suffered many cuts and horrible razor burn. Double-edged razors, still popular with shaving enthusiasts today, require a very light touch, and a very "shallow" shaving angle, with the handle at an approximately 45º angle to the face, depending on the razor. Complete nonsense with some great CGI
29 May 2018 | by tomasajdariSee all my reviews

Damn, the nonsense in this episode gives me depression that is so deep that I can't even describe the plot holes and nonsense - oh which there are about 20 examples (1 per 120 seconds!!!).

A burst of gun fire would have stopped the escape dead in its tracks, judging by the episode "33" and the destruction of OC by gun fire.
