When DEA agents are called to a beach crime scene, they discover a missing college girl drifting alone in a drug-runners boat. As she recalls her island trip of a lifetime, the investigation begins to unravel a spring break adventure that took a lethal dive into drugs, betrayal, and murder. Attempting to solve the mystery, catch the smugglers, and find the missing teenagers, the DEA agents uncover the ancient island legend of Immortal Island. Written by Anonymous
The current (Nov 27, 2016) 5.7 rating must reflect high ratings posted by members of the crew and cast. This is not a zombie film. It is an amateurish attempt at an adventure flick, with plenty of pretty girls in bikinis to appeal to adolescent boys I suppose. My version of this DVD movie is entitled "Island of The Dead", which is a far better name than "Immortal Island", for the film should be dead & buried: it has zero chance of achieving immortality. It would be a useful, appropriate movie to show as part of a cinematography course, to illustrate how NOT to make a motion picture of substance and worth. Sadly, I must rate it as ONE, as ZERO is not available.
