    I, Lou, Take This Chimp
Bud and Lou take a job at a pet shop to pay some of their back rent. Mrs. Van Olsen (Isabel Randolph, Clara Petrie from "The Dick Van Dyke Show) comes in upset that the "trained dog" she bought last week ran away and insists it be replaced. Another customer (possibly Alix Talton) can't buy dog biscuits because Lou ate them all. Lou decides to take Bingo the Chimp home to meet Stinky. On the sidewalk, Mike the Cop insists Bingo must have a license and Bud and Lou take him to the county clerk. Lou mistakenly enters the marriage license bureau and comically applies for a license for him and Bingo, to the confusion of the clerk (Joan Shawlee, Pickles from "The Dick Van Dyke Show"). On their way home they stop at Mr. Bacciagalupe's vegetable cart. He tries to sell Lou two bananas instead of three in a "one banana...two banana...that's three bananas" routine. Lou and Bud use a baby carriage to sneak Bingo into their apartment where they try to hide him from Mr. Fields.
