Storyline

The world (of warcraft) has come under jeopardy when one player begins going around killing everyone else. Thousands of players send in complaints and make calls to blizzard support because of him, but the admins can't do anything because he's so powerful he can kill the admins. What's worse, he seems to enjoy killing players for no other reason than to kill the other players. After losing to him in a mass battle, the players decide to increase their levels to the top level to try and get even. Written by Emhilradim

Trivia

Slayer of the Lifeless is a weapon in the game World of Warcraft that was added as an homage to this episode. The sword can be looted from the boss Gothik the Harvester in the 10 man version of the Naxxramas raid. See more »

Goofs

Stan's father mentions that his level 2 hunter has just joined a big party of Night Elves and they're going to explore the Tower of Azora. The Tower of Azora isn't a dungeon and contains no monsters or instances; only vendors. "Exploring" it would take about 30 seconds. Also, the Night Elves' starting area is on the other side of the world from the Elwynn Forest where the tower is located. Any Night Elf character in the forest would most likely be of a much higher level than Valcorn in order to have traveled there. This makes it unlikely that a "big party" of them would join with a level 2 hunter in order to explore a tower containing only a few item vendors. See more »

Quotes

President of Blizzard Entertainment: Whoever this player is, he has played World of Warcraft nearly every hour of every day for the past year and a half. Gentlemen, we are dealing with someone here who... has absolutely no life.
Thomas the Board Member: [with Zen air] How do you kill that which has no life?

Best episode of Southpark
8 June 2010 | by jumbotSee all my reviews

I never post reviews on anything, however, this episode of Southpark deserves it. This was so well written and accurate is so many ways, it was truly genius. Matt & Trey deserve some type of an award for this one. I am a big SouthPark fan, however, they really outdid themselves on this episode. Truly one of the best written episodes of the series. The dynamics between the characters and the portrayal of the World of Warcraft were excellent. It was really nice to see an episode where Cartman, Kyle, Kenny & Stan worked together towards a common goal as well. If you have not seen this episode, I strongly suggest you watch it. Hope to see more like this from Matt & Trey. Great job guys.
