    Storyline

    Edit
The comedy segment is various types of phobias. Karen and Sarah Jacobson are identical twins who are competing in the upcoming Olympics in synchronized swimming. They talk about the sport and how much time they spend training (6-7 hours a day) and demonstrate some synchronized moves on the stage with accompaniment by the band. Jonathan Winters and Johnny talk about miscellaneous topics such as learning to swim and getting a haircut. Then Winters talks about the animals he keeps at home. This is followed by his experiences in the Marine Corps. Then, at Johnny's urging, he talks about his first experiences with women. Brooke Adams' appearance is postponed. —lenab9011

Johnny Carson: And yet you were a flyer.

      Ed McMahon: Right.

Johnny Carson: Now, how do you explain that?
