Good Character Development but Slow and Dull Plot
14 May 2018 | by GunnersMateSee all my reviews

Alienated finds some of the townsfolk of Eureka believing that the town is being invaded by aliens from space and taking what they deem as appropriate action. Not a bad premise, plenty of sci-fi-movie meets the "reality" of sci-fi-life in Eureka, but the road was a bumpy one and, unfortunately, not a terribly fun one to travel. The reasons why and the resolution were satisfactory, but not a terribly strong motivation fo watch the episode. Watch instead to see the character and relationship development between Shariff Carter and Deputy Lupo, as their interactions were alternatively funny, real, and endearing. It's Carter and his heart that give Eureka its soul and charm.
