Is there any way to watch this entire series? What I've been able to see is great but I need to be able to see it all! All the characters are classic for the post war era. The costumes and all the sets from homes to drug stores to offices also reflect the United States in the years when the WWII vets were adjusting to being home again. What makes this series even better is the focus on those waiting at home for their sons, husbands and brothers to come back from war and take up where things left off before they were drafted or signed up. This series explores just how difficult an adjustment that was. All the interactions of love stories coupled with a history lesson. No other film or series comes close to this one.
