Slasher film The Windmill Massacre is out now in the UK, and we’ve got an exclusive clip from the film, which you can watch here courtesy of Kaleidoscope Entertainment…

Jennifer is an Australian girl on the run from her past who washes up in Amsterdam. In a desperate attempt to stay one step ahead of the authorities, she joins a coach-load of tourists embarking on a tour of Holland s world famous windmills. When the bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere, she and the other tourists are forced to seek shelter in a disused shed beside a sinister windmill where, legend has it, a Devil-worshipping miller once ground the bones of locals instead of grain. As members of the group start to disappear, Jennifer learns that they all have something in common a shared secret that seems to mark them all for doom.

Sienna Miller Talks ‘High-Rise,’ Inhabiting a Character, and the Philosophy of Slavoj Žižek

Sienna Miller is unlike many actors I’ve interviewed in how she seems as intent in learning about you, as you are in learning about her. It’s the same quality that makes her so captivating to watch in films like Factory Girl, The Edge of Love and High-Rise, which was at the center of our conversation. In Ben Wheatley’s epic science-fiction thriller she plays Charlotte, a single mother living in the title building, where she meets the enigmatic Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) with whom she begins an affair. Ms. Miller provides Charlotte with an almost feline instinct, onscreen she slinks with premeditated effortlessness, seducing those on her path because life has revealed that is her strongest asset. She also infuses Charlotte with a droll sense of humor that in the hands of a lesser actor would make her seem heartless.

Like Charlotte, Ms. Miller is also very frank,

Film Review: ‘Set Fire to the Stars’

Dylan Thomas knew the transcendent power of great art: “The world is never the same,” he famously said, “once a good poem has been added to it.” The world, it has to be said, does not look terribly different after viewing “Set Fire to the Stars,” a stylized biopic covering the alcoholic poet’s first American tour in 1950. Shot in silky black-and-white, Andy Goddard’s debut feature is an easy, elegant diversion — a kind of “My Week With Dylan” exercise, agreeably headlined by Elijah Wood as John Brinnin, the buttoned-up Harvard grad swiftly overwhelmed by the Welsh hellraiser. Yet its appreciation of Thomas’ work remains superficial, while the polished filmmaking never quite finds its own poetry. Perhaps the most universally distributable of this year’s Edinburgh world premieres, “Stars” should twinkle only modestly in select arthouses.

Arriving six years after John Maybury’s “The Edge of Love” — a portrait-of-the-artist-as-a-young-man romance that also,

Set Fire to the Stars review - Edinburgh Film Festival 2014

Set Fire to the Stars review - Edinburgh Film Festival 2014
Director: Andy Goddard; Screenwriters: Andy Goddard, Celyn Jones; Starring: Elijah Wood, Celyn Jones, Steven Mackintosh, Shirley Henderson, Maimie McCoy; Running time: 90 mins; Certificate: Tbc

It's a matter of feeling. That's the general theme conveyed by Set Fire to the Stars, which covers Dylan Thomas's turbulent tour of America in 1950. But while the Welsh poet was a master at arousing sensation with his words, Andy Goddard's stylishly shot movie doesn't succeed in forming a sustained emotional connection with the viewer.

It's a surprise how flat the movie feels, given the fascinating subject matter of the complex relationship between Thomas (Celyn Jones) and his American agent John Brinnin (Elijah Wood). The latter's doomed mission to steer his hellraising hero away from intoxication before his performances should have been rife with laughs and tears. Yet their shared journey fails to sweep us along, rendering us passive bystanders yearning for a deeper

Patrick Wolf to Score Chris Colfer Pic about Noel Coward
London — English singer-songwriter Patrick Wolf has attached to score B Good Picture Company’s film about the early life of Noel Coward, in which “Glee” star Chris Colfer plays Coward.

The pic is scripted by playwright Martin Sherman (“Bent,” “Mrs Henderson Presents”), and will be helmed by Joe Stephenson. Ian McKellen, Vanessa Redgrave and Jonathan Pryce are in talks to join the cast.

Wolf, who is best known for his use of classical instruments and electro-acoustic composition, has contributed to the soundtracks of such films as John Maybury’s “The Edge of Love” and Samantha Morton’s “The Unloved,” but this will be his first score.

“I am so thrilled for my first film soundtrack composition to be about Noel Coward’s early life. We both grew up in the same parts of South West London, and began our journeys onto the stage and into writing at the same precocious age,

Adam Levine and Keira Knightley Had the Jitters Making Their New Movie
Adam Levine admits he was nervous about making his feature film acting debut in Begin Again with Keira Knightley - but tried hard not to show it. "So I was just playing the role of an actor knowing what he was doing. You know when you see a bear you have to pretend you are bigger than the bear in order to keep your life? That's kind of what it was like.

Sienna Miller heaps praise on 'timeless movie star' Keira Knightley

Sienna Miller heaps praise on 'timeless movie star' Keira Knightley
London, Apr 8: Sienna Miller, who became good friends with Keira Knightley after co-starring in their 2008 film 'The edge of Love', is apparently quite impressed with the fellow actress.

The 31-year-old fashion designer said that Knightley is a 'timeless movie star,' whose classic appearance also means that she can pull off any outfit, the Daily Express reported.

The 'Alfie' actress insisted that the first thing that comes to her mind when she is thinking about the 28-year-old is the Forties.

"I think of her as glamorous in that kind of timeless movie star way but she can be grungy in this very cool Nineties way," she said.

Miller also claimed that the British star genuinely doesn't think about the way she.
