Storyline

This documentary is about the "World's Largest Trivia Contest" held in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Eight questions per hour are asked over 90FM, the student radio station at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, for 54 hours straight. This film highlights several trivia teams and how very differently they play the contest from the more serious teams to the teams who just get together to party. For most teams, Trivia is like an annual reunion where they can get together with family and friends and have fun doing something they all love. Written by Patricia Johnson

Not Trivial. Really.....
1 December 2006 | by sksemmerlingSee all my reviews

Triviatown inspires others to play the contest we all love! Seriously, an inspiring depiction of the World's Largest Trivia Contest. Ken Jennings even loved it - and he visited the Cakers! A "must see" for any fan of McAdam's and Cady's other acclaimed work. What is most impressive to us, the players of this contest, is how Patrick and Brit express how unique, interesting and intriguing this contest is to the many who travel back to Central Wisconsin on a yearly basis to engage in a contest of this nature. Many who come back and live in Central Wisconsin call it a "spring homecoming"...and that is evident in this film. A wonderfully conceived trip! Sign me up for "hour one, question one" and every trivial question thereafter. Triviatown...everyone's doing it.
