Trivia
Saul Rubinek plays Dr. Carl Carlson in this episode. Saul Rubinek will go on to play Artie Nielsen in Warehouse 13 (2009) which is a sister show to Eureka (2006) and had many charactor cross-overs.

Goofs
In his lab, Dr. Carlson explains to Sheriff Carter how he is working on cellular regeneration, and cites as an example how lizards are able to regrow their tails if lost in an accident, etc. As he talks, he gestures towards a tank with a lizard in it. However, in the tank is a chameleon, which is actually one of the few lizard species that does not possess the aforementioned cellular regeneration characteristic, and is unable to regrow its tail.

An Example of Solid Sci-fi Storytelling

Invincible is a story that takes its time telling the tale of a scientist who is apparently failing at his research but when things take a turn, the Sheriff is not so sure that all is as it appears. As each discovery is revealed to both the viewer and the Eureka townsfolk, have the opportunity to try to solve the mystery of what is really happening. Along with enjoying the exploration of the story, we get to see not only what a good sheriff Carter really is, but what an exceptional man he is. No "rainbows and unicorns" ending here, but we do get a nod to what may come to pass. A solid and enjoyable episode.
