General Landry plans to teach SG-1 how to relax in General O'Neil's log cabin while Jack is in Washington, but Daniel Jackson can't wait to consult an aristocrat's private library in London on Merlin. Meanwhile, Sam and Vala join Teal'c on P9J-333 where a mysterious monster devours all humanoids, as on several other planets which were recently visited by SG teams. Landry is left alone with Cameron Mitchell, who finds this rather uncomfortable. Dissection of a monster victim reveals it implants a centipede-like parasite, which transforms otherwise harmless indigenous species. Carter figures out it was spread by the Sodan cloaking device, but one is missing, and the suspect is probably after Landry and Mitchell, who find similar victims near the cabin...
