At the end of the movie when Ewan McGregor's character walks to the Madrid square to meet Michelle Williams' character, in the first shot Ewan wears a white T-shirt under his green V-neck sweater and in the next shots he doesn't.
When Ewan McGregor's character goes to work on the day he has to transfer the money he goes into the subway station clearly marked "1" line, when he is standing on the platform with Hugh Jackman's character as the train doors open the P.A. says "next stop Park Place" - the station "Park Place" is not served by the "1" line, nor is it anywhere near the station he gets on at.

In the narrative of the story, the point is made that the intent of one of the rules of The List is that of anonymity. When McQuarry met the Wall Street Belle (Charlotte Rampling's character), while she herself offers no clues to her identity, she makes no effort to conceal it either. McQuarry easily learns her identity when he sees her portrait on the cover of Forbes magazine.

Jonathan and Wyatt withdraw 20 million in cash. A 100 dollar bill weighs roughly 1 gram. 20 million in 100 dollar bills is 200,000 $100 bills which would weigh approx. 200kg. There is no way 200 kilo will fit in the briefcases they carry out of the bank in Spain.
The detectives connected McQuarry to the murder of Simone, the first woman he slept with, because they found records at the Dilon hotel stating that he used his card to pay for the drinks and the room. But Simone was the one who paid for everything because she initiated the meeting. One of the rules of the list was that the initiator paid for everything.
