The movie depicts a dictatorship atmosphere where tyranny rules and people are murdered and executed by martial-governmental men. The soundtrack "Yar-e-Dabestani: My Schoolmate" by Fereydoon Foroughi lead to the hymn of revolutionists in 1953. Fereydoon was somehow prohibited from singing after his work in this movie. Acting in this movie is superb, although the dialogs are often long and sometimes the scenes don't go with the sequence. The camera is great. Good selection of locations and scenes. And the flashbacks are amazing. You can never predict what will happen at the end, until you see it! The story is breathtaking, showing the deviation of three schoolmates' destiny.
